Hoyo Claro Natural Monument is located on the Verón-Punta Cana highway. It is a place with an ecosystem of wetlands, lagoons, meadows of bulrushes and cane palm forests. Among the wetlands is the Hoyo Claro Lagoon, the entrance has no identification but in a booth of the Ministry of Environment, you can ask for the necessary information and pay the entrance fee at a minimal cost, the last time I went it cost $3.60
